Miles Teller and Eddie Redmayne are in talks to star in “Star One,” a new spy thriller from Doug Liman set to launch at the market in Cannes. Liman — who recently wrapped AI thriller “Bitcoin” starring Casey Affleck and Pete Davidson — is directing from a script by David Coggeshall. BAFTA Award nominee P.J. van Sandwijk (“Ferrari”) will produce for Storyteller Productions alongside Project X Entertainment’s William Sherak (“Scream 7”) James Vanderbilt (“Nuremberg”), and Paul Neinstein (“The Night Agent”). CAA is representing domestic sales for the film, with Black Bear handling international. “Star One” follows two wildly mismatched CIA agents, the first daring and charismatic (Teller), and the other, a strait-laced strategist (Redmayne), who must work together to execute a top-secret mission: a treacherous journey across thousands of miles of enemy territory to covertly deliver arms.…
