A shoplifter stole an entire Mini Eggs display from a supermarket, CCTV from the store shows.
Footage shared by South Wales Police on Thursday (7 May) shows Ashley Daley, 39, picking up the entire display from a Tesco store before boldly walking out the door.
Daley went on a three-week shoplifting spree across the South Wales and Gwent areas, targeting a variety of supermarkets, which cost them a combined total of £4,000.
He was stopped in a vehicle by police on 21 February shortly after he had committed a theft earlier that day. Upon arrest, a kitchen knife was in his possession, for which he was also arrested, in addition to other offences.
Daley has been jailed for four months after he was charged with 12 offences of theft, one attempted theft and possession of a bladed article.
