Day 21: Twins and Astros stung, but Jays and Braves carried hard Two losses to start the day. Minnesota Twins at 50 cents went the wrong way, cost me $5.00. Then Houston Astros at 41 cents also missed, another $4.10 down. After 21 days of tracking this, you'd think I'd be used to red trades early in the slate. Still stings though. But here's the thing: the wins were just bigger. Toronto Blue Jays at 51 cents hit for $4.90 on 10 contracts. Atlanta Braves at 57 cents added $4.30. Milwaukee Brewers at 60 cents brought in $4.00. Dodgers at 74 cents closed it out with $2.60. So 4W-2L for +$6.70 on a quiet MLB-only day. Total of 6 trades. The pattern I'm seeing lately is that the model tends to size into the mid-range contracts - 50-70 cents - and those have been the most consistent winners. The really cheap underdogs print big when they hit, but there's a lot of variance. The expensive favorites can go either way. Middle of the road has been the sweet spot. Today was exactly that.…
