The thought came to my head and I realized that I've always thought it was weird how little attention they get nowadaws because they were pretty popular releases when they came out. Annihilation seems to be discussed more than the others, but still not enough. I also realized that they're three movies that either touch on themes of womanhood or feature female main characters.

Any thoughts on why they're overlooked?? Or do you disagree that they are? Do you think they have anything in common or it's just a coincidence?
