3 of TIME's top 10 AI companies are Chinese and I only knew one by name I code for a living, close to 7 years now, and I read way too much tech news. TIME dropped their 2026 most influential AI companies list and going through it I see OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, Amazon, then Zhipu AI sitting right there with them I knew the name but I had zero idea they were at this level. I was always the guy who thought Claude, GPT, Gemini were it. The holy trinity. Chinese models? Cool experiment, not for real work.
