Bold, creative and starring Rossy de Palma in bright colors. That describes many of Spanish auteur Pedro Almodóvar’s films, but it also works for Rimowa ’s newest campaign of luxury luggage featuring orange and magenta pieces as part of its Essential and Groove collection. The two bold shades are meant to “celebrate individuality, creative expression and the joy color brings to everyday life,” per Rimowa. The new campaign — debuting in time for the Cannes Film Festival, where Almodóvar will present the world premiere of his latest, Bitter Christmas , starring Bárbara Lennie and Leonardo Sbaraglia (and de Palma in a supporting turn) in the story of a woman who is abandoned by her partner during the holiday season — places de Palma in a scene reminiscent of an Almodóvar flick.
