15s threshold

Played the last two days, same course, same tees, similar weather, no real tangible differences. Shot a 101 day one and an 82 the next day...... That's about as consistent as I can expect from my game. 15 handicap 11 less putts and 5 less penalties make up for the majority of those strokes The 82 happened by playing defensive, avoiding penalty areas at all costs, laying up when it made sense, taking medicine from trouble areas rather than hitting hero shots, knocking down a few putts. It was far from perfect golf. The biggest difference in a lot of it was avoiding the big mistakes kept me in a positive mind set and excited about how to finish the hole. Putting this here as a reminder to myself that the best golf is often boring, overly practical and just giving yourself a chance on the next shot. submitted by /u/Proof_Employment764 [link] [comments]
