Two Live features a former Cubase user has trouble with Hi all Im not here to rant, not at all. I love Live. Been using it for almost a year now for my electronic side project after more than 15 years of Cubase as a metal producer. So one can say my workflow has habits from how Cubase works. Live is simply more fun to produce in for electronic music but there are several things I miss from Cubase. Two things though, I do not understand why they work the way they do, and Id love to hear thoughts on this. Am I the only one? Is there a fix? Do I just need to change my workflow? Here are my two main issues: 1: Moving notes in the piano roll. I do not like to press B and then paint the notes in. I prefer to just double click, and then drag the notes when Im writing a melody or a bassline, or anything melodic really. Problem is, when dragging, sometimes the notes lock into the grid. And sometimes they dont. There seems to be no logic to when it locks and when it doesnt. It cant be completely random?…
