Estimate for rough in plumbing Looking for some feedback on an estimate we received for a basement bathroom rough in. We're in a mid-low cost of living in the Midwest. House was built in the 60s and has original cast iron drains. Does this seem like a fair price? Here's the quote: Task 1 - $3,400 Break approximately 8 ft of concrete in basement for basement bathroom. Remove debris. Excavate and install new stub ups for toilet, shower, and sink. Get ground rough inspected. Come back and backfill. Pour new concrete. Task 2 - $2,000 Install top rough for property. Install shower pan. Set new shower manifold and install new shower riser. Run PEX supply lines for shower, toilet, and sink. Stub out to caps for toilet and vanity. Install new vanity drain and AAV for vanity drain. Total - $5,400 submitted by /u/eb0027 [link] [comments]
