After some research I settled on the Peter Blake 2254.50 Seamaster 300M. It has a lot of appealing features over its modern counterparts; it's thinner, the speedy-style bracelet, the sword hands, the tight wave pattern, and of course it's cheaper. So I ended up purchasing one off of r/watchexchange. I was very happy with it, but it didn't come without some faults. The printed indices felt cheap, the bezel font was too bold and the clasp doesn't adjust. Luckily, I found some decade old forums showing folks modding their Omegas so I decided to try it myself. The changes are: 1. **The dial**: swap to a 2230.50 "non-ac" dial. It has applied indices and an applied logo. A common mod back when parts were easily accessible.
