Robert Munic and Teton Ridge Entertainment are adapting French-Canadian series Le Clan for Peacock , The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Retitled Stoic Ridge , the modern Western about “loyalty, betrayal, and the fight to outrun the past,” will be made in English. “After years in witness protection, reformed criminal Jacob Morris has built a quiet life as a rancher, husband and father in small-town New Mexico,” the logline reads. “When his crime boss father and brother are released from prison, however, his two worlds collide, forcing him to protect his new family from the one he betrayed.” Munic will showrun; other executive producers include Jillian Share, Jen Gorton, Guy Stodel and Joanne Forgues.
