McAlmont & Butler  have announced an anniversary reissue of their debut album, with outtakes, demos and remixes. The duo are made up of the London-based vocalist David McAlmont and the former Suede guitarist and sought-after producer  Bernard Butler , and they released their first record ‘The Sound Of…McAlmont & Butler’ in November 1995. It included their two singles ‘Yes’ and ‘You Do’, both one-of-a-kind jazz-inflected throwbacks to a classic pop world, but by the time of the album’s release, the duo had already split up after frictions spilled over following an  NME  interview with McAlmont. The album was well-received and eventually the duo reunited to make a second album ‘Bring It Back’ in 2002, and now the first record is getting the full re-release treatment.…
