Three teen girls were killed after the ex-boyfriend of one of the girls crashed into the truck they were riding in, causing it to roll into an irrigation canal Sunday afternoon near Othello, according to the Adams County sheriff’s office. The ex-boyfriend was booked into jail on suspicion of three counts of vehicular homicide, including a domestic violence designation on one of the counts, according to court documents. A sheriff’s sergeant wrote in a probable cause affidavit that the 19-year-old man did not call 911 to report the incident and instead continued driving away from the crash.
