April sees 49 CMO hires, with many first-timers

Chief marketing officer hiring remained strong in April, with 49 hires globally, matching March's total, according to Ad Age and Taligence. Only three of these were internal promotions, highlighting a preference for external candidates, and 23 first-timers were appointed. Key hires include Antonio Lucio at PayPal, Oshiya Savur at e.l.f. Beauty, Fernando Machado at Chipotle and David Mogensen at Cadillac.
