While the Avalanche await word on their opponent in the Western Conference final, the NHL was kind of enough to release the schedule ahead of time.
The Avalanche get a full week off before they hit the ice for Game 1 at Ball Arena on Wednesday for a matchup with the Vegas Golden Knights or Anaheim Ducks. At stake in the best-of-seven series is a spot in the Stanley Cup final.
Vegas holds a 3-2 series over Anaheim with Game 6 at 7:30 p.m. Thursday (TNT). The Avalanche eliminated the Minnesota Wild in a five-game series Wednesday.
