The Black Beauty Club is gearing up for its largest event yet. The organization, launched in 2020 as a resource for Black talent in the beauty industry , is introducing a multicity, daylong experience called Beauty on the Block. The event, to be held in New York on June 21 and Chicago on Aug. 8, will be part beauty marketplace and part block party, with brand founders and service providers — including makeup artists , hair braiders and aestheticians — offering goods and services on site.
