Wondering how common this is? For years I've liked the idea of learning a language but I try for a couple of weeks, stop, and then months/year later I try again. I don't mind that learning a language hasn't stuck, I don't need it for work and I don't live in a new country so it's just a hobby. It's just annoying how I always seem to revisit it! As hobbies go it does seem like such a massive waste of time to do for a couple weeks at a time and then come back to it and have to start again
