A Clear Resin Phone Case Embeds a Vertical Terrarium The Terrarium Phone Case, developed by Daniel Idle, integrates a planted environment into the structure of a smartphone accessory. Designed for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, the project incorporates soil, moss, and small-scale vegetation within a transparent enclosure, positioning the device as both a functional object and a contained ecological system. The case is developed through 3D modeling and fabricated in clear resin, allowing visibility of the internal composition. A vertical terrarium is embedded within the structure, using a stabilised soil substrate that maintains the arrangement of materials during handling.
