Final round for two separate roles I have been unemployed for nearly a year and picking up low-paying gig work to keep myself busy and buy the odd dinner out. I have had a bunch of interviews, presented from recruiters and also ones I've applied to directly. Many of these have gone several rounds, but I've been cut from every single one. Needless to say, it's been frustrating and anxiety-inducing. I've never been unemployed longer than 2 months in nearly 2 decades of professional work. And now, I have not one, but TWO separate companies interested and I'm in their final rounds of interviews. I'm traveling to see Company A and they will want me to see a second location if this interview goes well (hopefully next week). Company B is doing their interviews entirely remote because it's a WFH and travel job, mostly customer-facing; there are two more rounds before their final decision, also. I know I have a very strong chance of having competing offers and a far better chance of getting at least one.…
