An inquest heard Pack and his wife had a "screaming" argument the night before, during which both threatened self-harm, after drinking and discussing plane tickets. Pack, who was relocating to London to lead Fortress's European expansion, was under significant stress from his new project and had a history of impulsive behavior. Household staff discovered Pack's body after breaking into the locked room, which had no other key, following his wife's departure for the airport, believing he had checked in for a flight.
