I’m a 2026 graduate and honestly I feel kinda lost when it comes to scholarships. I graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA, honors, and college credits from concurrent courses, so I thought I’d at least have a little success by now. I’ve been applying for scholarships since the beginning of the year, but I only have two. Ironically, so far I’ve only heard back from two scholarships and got denied from both. I do qualify for FAFSA because I’m very need-based financially, but FAFSA alone isn’t enough to cover school. I’m located in Oklahoma and it’s been hard finding local scholarships too. I also applied for the scholarships my school gives out, but it honestly felt like the only people who received them were the suck ups. Even with only around ten people applying, I still didn’t get anything. I’m still applying and trying not to give up, but I just feel like I’m doing something wrong or missing something. Has anyone else gone through this? Any advice on where to look or what I could improve?…
