The Stanley Cup Final is set, and it will start in North Carolina. The Vegas Golden Knights will face the Carolina Hurricanes for the Stanley Cup. Carolina captured its first Eastern Conference title since 2006 and is going to the final for the third time in franchise history. The Hurricanes defeated the Edmonton Oilers in seven games in 2006. Paul Maurice, who coached the Florida Panthers to the last two championships, was the coach that year. The Knights won both meetings against the Hurricanes in the regular season.
