AP With just one more tournament to go until the second major of the season, a good chunk of the top players on the PGA Tour head to Quail Hollow for the 2026 Truist Championship. Quail Hollow is widely considered one of the most challenging regular tests on the PGA Tour circuit, and the Truist (formerly the Wells Fargo) has been deemed a Signature Event, so we’ll be treated to an elite field this week. With Scottie Scheffler skipping the trip, Rory McIlroy tops the odds at FanDuel Sportsbook as a +600 favorite. This is McIlroy’s kind of track, and he’s proven that with a pair of wins (2021 and 2024) among a smattering of top-10 finishes over the last decade. Cam Young, fresh off his second win of the season at the Cadillac Championship, is the second favorite at +950. The Westchester native is on a Scheffler-esque run of form with two wins, four top-3 finishes, and five top-10s in his last six starts.…
