Launched as a pilot program last spring with seed funding also from Rales, Across the Nation has so far brought works by Georgia O'Keeffe to Anchorage, Rembrandt to Denver, Rothko to Boise, Bottoceli to Flint, and Henri Matisse to northern Washington.
