Looking for honest feedback from people who have experience interviewing or hiring, especially in healthcare. I recently interviewed internally for a Cath Lab RN position within my health system. I’m currently working ICU and am trying to transition out of ICU full-time into something that feels like a better long-term fit. A little background on me: - 6 years as a paramedic before nursing - 4 years in the ED as an RN - 1 year in ICU currently The interview itself felt like it went pretty well: - It lasted about 45 minutes - The manager walked me through the department afterward - I was introduced to some of the staff/team - We talked in detail about call requirements, training, expectations, and the different roles in Cath Lab - The manager gave me her business card at the end - I was told they still had other candidates to interview A few days later, I followed up with the recruiter and was told they are still interviewing candidates and expect to make a final decision sometime in the near future.…
