A roving UHub bicyclist turned on a camera the other day and videoed the ride along what used to be a bike lane on Boylston Street between Tremont and Washington streets, which has become a parking lane now that the flexposts are gone.
Compare to the view in 2023.
The city says it's replacing the easily destroyed plastic flexposts - many of which it says came down during snow removal this past winter - with hardier concrete "zebra" markers (lower-slung striped black and white concrete slugs), but not fast enough for many bicyclists.
