Question on Avis Namibia fine print inconsistencies Hi all, I‘m looking for some advice on a rental car booking in Namibia starting in a few days for three weeks. I booked a car via a German website (billiger-Mietwagen) from Avis. I made sure to check that the insurances are all covered, so protection against third party damage, theft, collision everything with zero excess is checked, glass, tyres and undercarriage all covered. This was as well confirmed when talking to billiger Mietwagen (the above screenshot is a confirmation from them saying that Avis accepted the conditions). However, when reading the fine print (AGBs) from Avis (who are the contract holders) there is no mentioning of coverage of third party damages outside the Namibian legal requirements, covering only third party damage linked to injuries but not damages to third party equipment. Also, the fine print says that I need to buy additional waivers for no excess damages and coverage of all of the above (tyres, windscreen etc.).…
