Norway’s 2026 Eurovision entry Jonas Lovv first rose to attention in his home country when he competed on the 10th season of The Voice last year, reaching the semi-final. Hailing from Bergen, Lovv sees this year’s Eurovision Song Contest as a chance to fully establish himself as an artist, having honed his craft on the live stage at a series of gigs and festivals in summer 2025. Norway has a mixed history at Eurovision . It has won the Eurovision Song Contest three times, most recently with Alexander Rybak and his song “Fairytale” in 2009. The country also holds the dubious record for most last-place finishes, with 12. However, Norway fared well in 2023, landing in the top five thanks to Alessandra and her song “Queen of Kings”. Last year the country placed 18th, a disappointing result for Kyle Alessandro and his track “Lighter”.
