As such, Google recently revealed that Android 17 will be getting a much-requested feature that makes playing your games a bit more convenient. More specifically, Google will introduce a system-wide upgrade for mobile gamers by bringing native game controller remapping on Android 17, which should eliminate frustration of mismatched button layouts between physical gamepads and specific mobile titles.
