Variety and NBCUniversal have partnered on a cross-platform content initiative tied to NBC’s yearlong 100th anniversary celebration. Starting next month, Variety will publish a recurring series of NBC100 editorial and branded content across Variety ’s digital, print, social, video and podcast platforms. The series is designed to examine NBC’s past, present and future. The rollout will extend through December when NBCUniversal’s anniversary campaign culminates in a live three-hour primetime special on Dec. 10. Variety will tap its vast archive and collaborate with NBCUniversal archivists to document milestone moments, with an emphasis on NBC’s legacy of innovation and its endurance as a cornerstone of media and entertainment business.
