Warren Shen was previously a healthy 29-year-old software engineer living in Silicon Valley. Now, he is turning to social media to find the one stranger who could save his life. Two months ago, Shen was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) , an aggressive blood cancer that doctors say will require a blood stem cell transplant for a chance at survival. But as an Asian American patient, Shen faces significantly lower odds of finding a compatible donor match.
