The BLM reminds visitors that Teaters Road remains open for public access,” the agency announced in a recent news release. “Gates along the road may be closed for short periods of time, but they will remain unlocked. Visitors may pass through and should leave gates as they are found — open or closed.” Teaters Road provides a direct connection between Highway 380 north to the BLM North Fork Crooked River area and the Ochoco National Forest, both popular recreation destinations and important areas for timber production.
