I am new to cycling and Right now my budget is $500 because I'm not too sure if I am ready to fully commit to a $1,000 plus bike.

I stumbled upon a few bikes locally and are wondering which would be the best option comparing their prices and the actual bikes itself. I mainly plan on riding on the road but might want to do some light dirt trails along the way where I commute.

I love the look of drop bars but it's not the most important thing for me right now, the most important thing is making sure I don't waste my money.

If anyone could please give me some advice I would greatly appreciate it.
