Beastie Boys ‘ Mike D has announced his first ever UK and European solo shows, set to kick off later this summer. The new announcement comes following the hip-hop icon making a surprise appearance on stage with his sons Davis and Skyler –  who form the indie-dance band Very Nice Person – last month and breaking out a couple of Beastie Boys classic tracks. Shortly afterwards, he announced a couple of live solo shows in the US which included a gig at the Plaza Nightclub & Dance Hall in Los Angeles where he debuted new solo material, and last week, he surprised fans with a debut solo single called ‘Switch Up’ . Now, Mike D has announced his first ever European headline shows as a solo artist, which will see him play at intimate, unconventional venues across the continent. Dates commence this summer with two shows at 26 Leake Street in London on June 5 and 6. From there he will head over to Berlin for a show at Saalchen, and follow this up with headline shows in Barcelona, Kortrijk and Sint-Niklaas.…
