I recently went back and showed my wife Phantom Menace for her first time. It had been like 20 years since I last seen it. NGL though the movie held up a lot better than I thought it would. This makes me think the prequels deserved more credit than they original got. The graphics weren't half bad aside from some scenes. The plot was good, the fights were good, and it had great characters. I found it to be a lot more entertaining then the most recent Mandalorian season, and book of Boba Fett which I also recently watched. If anyone's interested in volunteering as a guest speaker, I'll be doing an audio podcast episode on the movie. How do you all think it held up in the modern day? Was it good when it came out? Is it still good today? Is it better than any of the modern Star Wars shows? submitted by /u/Previous-Glass6291 [link] [comments]
