What do you think of when you imagine Resident Evil ? Is it zombies and lickers, or is it Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield? I wasn’t sure how to answer this one properly until today. The new trailer for Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil movie reboot dropped this morning, and there is nary a S.T.A.R.S. member or government agent to be found…and it still looks absolutely incredible, echoing reported sentiments from a recent test screening . “In an all-new story, Resident Evil follows Bryan (Austin Abrams), a medical courier who unwittingly finds himself in an action-packed, non-stop race for survival as one fateful, horrifying night collapses around him in chaos,” the synopsis reads. This sounds like what a Resident Evil movie needs to be.
