As Deadline exclusively reported earlier today, SAG-AFTRA and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers have nailed down a new contract. Of course, until this is voted on by some 160,000 members of the actors’ guild, everything will remain tentative for the time being. Yet, with AI protections, a four-year agreement and a bumping up of the guild pension fund now semi-written-in-stone, this agreement with undoubtedly follow getting an approval just like the recent WGA one did . In a statement , the guild noted the deal is now heading to its national board for review, which will meet in the coming days to go over terms.
