While in the yard and in direct view of the incoming flight, my sister and I, arms outstretched, seesawed them up and down. Having the pilot slightly tip a wing to acknowledge us brought a smile to our faces and a story we’ve shared many times. RAVE to the Mariners for inducting Randy Johnson to the Mariners Hall of Fame, a well-deserved accolade for one of the most dominating pitchers of his era! RANT to parents who load their young children in their cars on the street side of the vehicle, leaving their car door wide open — sometimes both — with no awareness of traffic. Be aware — even better, load them on the curb side. You have very precious cargo!
