As the war destroys infrastructure, displaces communities, and blocks the movement of aid, millions of people are now facing acute food insecurity and recurring disease outbreaks, in addition to psychological trauma. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams on the ground in Sudan have been delivering medical care and humanitarian aid to people affected by the violence. Our teams provide surgical care, malnutrition treatment, mental health care, vaccinations , and other vital services in nine out of Sudan’s 18 states. We also support Sudanese refugees in Chad and South Sudan , where many live in dire conditions with limited access to basic needs.…
