I currently have the choice between a “new” / unused Mountain Hardwear Aspect 2 for €280 from a second-hand marketplace and a brand-new Naturehike Cloud Up 2 for €160. Which one would you choose and why? I’m personally leaning more towards the Aspect 2, but I do have some concerns about the relatively low waterproof rating and the mixed feedback online. On the other hand, it would probably have better resale value and a stronger warranty. I’ll mainly use it first for a trip through Peru and afterwards for trips in the Alps.
