So I’m sitting in my parked vehicle and my RPM reads about 800 or 900. Yet when I accelerate I can get 3000 rpm or beyond. I imagine the gas consumption is different at idle compared to moving. So how much gas is being consumed at idle? Especially compared to 8/900 rpm idling and letting off the gas while moving I’ll get down to 1100 or so.
