When I die, I hope to reincarnate as a Sonny Angel or Smiski. Like....how can your heart not melt when you see these cutie patooties?

You may have just learned about these figurines, but they've been around the sun a few times!

Sonny Angel was invented in Japan in 2005, while Smiski came ten years later in 2015. They gained popularity in the early 2020s from "unboxing videos" on TikTok, and now start at about $15 a pop. 

And people seriously LOVE them. I mean, check out this custom Sonny Angel someone designed!
