Hi guys! I’m currently getting multiple quotes from window installation companies, home depot gave me $9700 bid for 3 vinyl windows and a door with double lifetime warranty.

Another company had missed my appointment and in return offered me a “special price”. He said that vinyl windows end up having problems being so close to the beach (<2miles) and recommend anderson composite windows for $12k, he also gave me a quote for $9400 for the virgin vinyl windows.

I wanted to ask those who have lived near the beach or have experience with these windows which you would prefer. Thanks!
