Wang Yi, China's top diplomat, held a meeting with Araghchi on Wednesday morning, according to state-backed Xinhua News Agency. Chinese state media proactively publicized the visit late Tuesday, citing a foreign ministry statement that noted Beijing initiated the invitation.
