Missouri football player Ahmad Hardy is recovering after being shot at a concert in Mississippi early Sunday morning, the school announced on Monday. Hardy, a 20-year-old running back, is in stable condition according to a statement from the football program, who added that the student-athlete had underwent surgery. “Ahmad is deeply loved by his teammates, coaches, friends, family and fans,” the statement read. “We will continue to stand beside him and his family through this difficult time, offering our love, prayers, strength and support.
