I have a problem in Ableton that happens rather frequently.

I drag the timeline, or drag the selection bar at the top to the right to move forward and it gets stuck and keeps going, sometimes seemingly forever and i have to force quit the program or for minutes at a time.

Does anyone know what causes this?

The project isn't huge and probably 10 plugins, that are actually all disabled when it happened this time.

Incredibly frustrating as it happens every day or two.

I have a very beefy system,

5090, 128gb ram, 9500x3d, all NVME.

Ableton 12.3.8
