All eyes will be on Balclutha this weekend as the Clutha Rugby Club celebrates its 150th jubilee. In what should be an action-packed day of footy festivities, the Clutha club will cap off the day with a match against old rivals Crescent, with both the Centennial Cup and McIntosh Cup on the line. Clutha are on top of the ladder by a single point and will come into this match fresh after having the bye last weekend. Crescent lost the Eddie Scott Memorial to Toko last weekend but showed some glimpses of their best in the first half. Crescent has been without key players for a few weeks now but is slowly starting to get them back. Clutha should be too strong in this one, however. There are two trophies on the line at Swamp Hen Park in Owaka as second-placed West Taieri do battle with the fourth-placed home side, who have surprised many with their performances this season.…
