For me, it’s Knights of the Old Republic 2. The entire game is essentially a massive deconstruction of the general Star Wars status quo compared to the first, which was much more ‘traditional’ in a sense. The portrayal of the Sith and the dark side’s ideology, Kreia serving as a critic of the concept of the ‘will of the Force’ and how fundamentally disturbing that can sound on paper, the way Meetra Surik approaches her relationship with the Force and her path as a Jedi… it’s honestly one of the stories that I feel counts as a ‘gold standard’ for Star Wars. submitted by /u/Solitaire-06 [link] [comments]
