I have TEACH grants that got converted to loans. I fulfilled my service obligation however the paperwork was mysteriously never received. I called in September 2025 to ask for the case to be reopened and converted back to grants. The gentleman who completed the request entered 2023 rather than 2013 as the beginning of my commitment time. Everything else on the website shows the grant submitted in 2013. I was told to file a feedback form for the correction which I did. In September 2025. I have called back three times even requesting Ombudsman. I keep getting told that I have to request ombudsman from the feedback. I don’t understand this there is nothing in the email that says how to contact or escalate, there is nothing online that will allow me to escalate it. Does anybody know how to get an ombudsman case because these teach grants are big loans now and I have done well past fulfilling my service obligation? submitted by /u/PacificWesterns [link] [comments]
