Scott Parker has left Burnley by “mutual consent” following their relegation from the Premier League . The Clarets were relegated with four games of the season remaining and Parker has left the club ahead of Friday’s away game against Leeds United. Parker led Burnley to a record-breaking season in the Championship last campaign, where they achieved promotion on the back of a 33-match unbeaten run. But the 45-year-old will play no part in Burnley’s latest season in the second tier after a third relegation in five seasons was confirmed following defeat to Manchester City last week. They have won just four Premier League games this season, drawing eight and losing 22.
